Sew Merry Stocking with Kirstie

Dates: Thursdays 28 November and 5th December, 2024

Time: 10am – 1pm (9:30am setup)

Class Focus: Techniques to create and line a Christmas stocking.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn to create your very own personalised stocking.  If you have some machine sewing experience, Kirstie will help guide you through the process, covering essential techniques like cutting, sewing & embellishing.

Choose from a variety of fabrics & decorations to make your stocking uniquely yours.

You will learn how to follow steps in order to construct a fully lined Christmas Stocking. You will take home a pattern so you can reproduce the stocking for other family members.

During the first class we will start with the embellishment & personalising of the stocking. In which you will watch a demonstration of how the Brother Scan & Cut works & how to use it to its fullest potential, to create an individual stocking.

We will then start to cut & plan our stocking.

Our second lesson we will finish cutting our stocking & start sewing / constructing.

Any questions about the Scan & Cut machine are welcome. You do not need to own a Scan & cut machine for this class. You will be using our demonstration models.
