Creative Overlocking & Cover Stitch with Lynne

Dates:   Wednesdays 7th,14th,21st,28th May, 4th and the 11th June.

 Focus: Overlocking & Coverstitch

This is a great class to learn about your Overlocking, Coverstitch or Combination Machine and unleash its potential. You will take home lots of new ideas for using your cover and chain stitches. If you enjoyed Lynne’s ‘Love Your Overlocker Classes’, you will be amazed at what you will learn with this class.  Lynne will show you that Coverstitch and chain stitch are not only for hemming! Unlock your creative potential.

Learn how the tensions work to allow you to experiment with your accessory feet, different thread types and different needle combinations. You will use techniques to create different finishes with your cover stitch not just hems.

Stitching in the round will be a snap, and so will piping. Choose the way you want to finish to make a Tee shirt.

This course will develop a newfound confidence and understanding of your machine. Discover the many techniques to change the fabric you love to create with.

You will have samples with a piped neckline, a facing neckline, and a band neckline. Combine this with your overlocking and practice you will know no limits.
